MASAYUKI FURUKAWA / 古川　正之
Photographer / Cinematographer

Born in Kanagawa, Japan. After studying photography in London, Furukawa returned to Japan and began his career as a photographer.
Working across a wide range of fields without being confined to a particular genre,
he brings his own perspective to each project while continuing to develop “DIARY” as a long-term personal project.
In 2022, he published the photobook DIARY with HILLDROP PRESS, which has since been distributed in Tokyo and across Asia, Europe, and the United States.
Moving between commissioned work and personal projects, Furukawa continues to explore photography and moving image as forms of expression.

神奈川生まれ。ロンドンで写真を学び、帰国後フォトグラファーとして活動を開始。
特定のジャンルにとらわれず自身の視点を軸にさまざまな領域で撮影を手がける一方、ライフワークとしての作品「DIARY」シリーズを継続的に制作している。
2022年には写真集『DIARY』をHILLDROP PRESSより出版し、東京をはじめアジア、ヨーロッパ、アメリカなどで展開。
商業撮影と個人制作を行き来しながら、写真と映像による表現を続けている。
